Our Brides

Rachel & Kristoffer

Rachel and Kristoffer had a beautiful March wedding at Pencoed House Estate, Cardiff.

The ceremony was an emotional affair filled with nostalgia. The bride walked down the aisle on her father’s arm whilst a string quartet played her favourite song, ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay, and her older brother delivered a beautiful reading from her favourite childhood story The Velveteen Rabbit. But most importantly, Rachel and Kristoffer (known to friends as ‘Geesy’) absolutely loved standing in front of all their friends and family to say ‘I do’. The rest of the day was the icing on the cake.

THE DRESS

Allure 9100 ‘Rachel’

“I’ve always loved the vintage, 50’s look so, when it came to my wedding dress, I just naturally assumed that I would go for a short dress. When I first came to Sentiments, the very first wedding dress that I tried on was short and for some reason something just didn’t click” says Rachel.

“I came to the conclusion that as it was my wedding day, I really wanted to wear something completely different – something that I could never get away with wearing any other time. My sister had found a beautiful Allure dress online with a beaded bodice and princess skirt. Luckily Sentiments was due to stock a sample of the dress so when it arrived at the shop I immediately went back to try it on. As soon as I saw myself in it I knew instantly that was THE ONE. I have genuinely never felt so pretty in anything in my entire life and on the day itself I felt like a true princess.”

Our charming Rachel gown from Allure Bridals is an English net ballgown featuring a delicate cap sleeve and gorgeously beaded bodice.
